Annual Provincial Grand Conclave 2023

Held at Ashlar House Bury St. Edmunds on 20th. March 2023

On Monday 20th March 2023 The Provincial Grand Conclave of OSM was held at Ashlar House.
Over 120 members and honoured guests were in attendance to see R Wy Bro William McColl installed as the new Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler by the Grand Deputy Supreme Ruler Wy Bro Keith Ferguson.
Our New Supreme ruler was then pleased to appoint and install Wy Bro Robert Dakin of Southwold Conclave as his new Deputy.
Following the meeting the brethren dined and enjoyed a first-class meal in the harmony and friendship of the order.

Donation to East Anglian Children’s Hospices Treehouse, Ipswich Sensory Equipment in the Garden Project

With the support of the OSM Benevolent Fund Match Funding Programme the members of the OSM Province of Suffolk were very pleased to be able to make a donation of £700 towards the purchase of sensory equipment to be installed in the garden of the EACH Treehouse facility in Ipswich.
Wy.Bro. Peter Pryke (Provincial Treasurer) and Wy.Bro. Kelvin Larcombe (Provincial Almoner) accompanied R.Wy.Bro. John Elmore (PGSR) on a visit to Treehouse to present the cheque to Alison Lansdowne, the EACH Community Fundraiser for Suffolk and East Essex.

Order of the Secret Monitor, Province of Suffolk makes £2800 donation to local Macmillan Nurses at the Woolverstone Centre at Ipswich Hospital

The Order of the Secret Monitor Province of Suffolk's Grand Supreme Ruler Dr. John Elmore accompanied by the Provincial Grand Treasurer Bryan Short presented a cheque for £2800 to Helen Glenholmes, Charity Manager for East Anglia and Pauline Meadows, Sister of the Chemotherapy Unit at the Macmillan Nurses Woolverstone Centre at Ipswich Hospital on the 8th. December 2016.

It was the wish of the Supreme Ruler that this year his chosen charity would be a local charity and that the Woolverstone Centre would be the recipient.

The donation was the total received from the six Conclaves within the Province of Suffolk and increased by Match Funding from OSM Grand Conclave.
